Just saw the trailer for Fahrenheit 9/11 and I was in tears
Not because they showed battle footage or anything like it, because this movie is going to be everything that Bush doesn't want us to know and everyone is going to see it. Even my friends who could generally care less about politics want to see this movie. My best friend's little sister, who is a dem but a non political one, said to me the other day that she can't wait to see fahrenheit 9/11. I was SHOCKED! My own sister said the same thing. Coming from folks that have chided me about only talking politics, this is a big deal! Fahrenheit 9/11 is going to make a KILLING at the box office.

The idea of the masses knowing the things that I know, brought me to tears. Even my repub father in law is terrified of the movie. He knows that he can't argue with real footage. Babs on Good Morning America, didn't need to be edited to look bad, the bitch said all that stuff on her own. That is why the repubs are scared the majority of the movie is real news footage and interviews that exposes Bushco for what it is. That is what brought me to tears, thinking about how great America used to be and the struggle to get it back to that. I love my country, and I miss it. Bless Micheal Moore for working so hard to make us proud of our country again.

2. I know what you mean
I was at the Kansas City Airport when Kerry landed this last week and I was surprised when I burst into tears when the door of his plane opened and the crowd went crazy! The music was playing loudly, the banners and the signs were waving in the air and hope was ours to touch!

I can't tell you how proud I felt of being an American again - at that moment. I want other people to experience that feeling again, it was wonderful!

And it says "Due to overwhelming demand, the trailer is down temporarily."

I'm bummed, and thrilled! This is going to be a blockbuster, and it is going to be a BUSHBUSTER too!

10. "The idea of the masses knowing the things that I know,
brought me to tears"

Wow.

Me too, just thinking about it.

Seen "They Live" lately? Americans needs to put on the glasses, and see the world to which they've been tricked into disregarding. Maybe they will. Maybe they are.

"We are living in an artificially induced state of consciousness that resembles sleep. The poor and the underclass are growing. Racial justice and human rights are nonexistent.

"They have created a repressive society and we are their unwitting accomplices ...their intention to rule rests with the annihilation of consciousness.

"We have been lulled into a trance.

"They have made us indifferent, to ourselves, to others, we are focused only on our own gain. They are safe as long as they are not discovered ...that is their primary method of survival. Keep us asleep, keep us selfish, keep us sedated...they are dismantling the sleeping middle class.

More and more people are becoming poor.
We are their cattle.
We are being bred for slavery."

I also was listening to so old school 90's Rock. Rage against the Machine and Pearl Jam are prophetic.

A quote from Evolution,

"I'm a theif and I'm liar, here's my church I sing in the choir."

God Bless them! In the 90's it fit, but now it is just plan scary.

Everyone should watch They Live, if only to see the inspiration for South Park's "cripple fight!"

Roudy Roddy Piper in one of the most important sci-fi flicks of all time, who knew?

* is a media creation.

"Some call you The Elite, I call you My Base." And "Now watch this drive." His arrogance and total disdain toward the rest of Americans knows no bounds.

22. Yes!!
All of the above. Even coming here just about every day, seeing all those clips of the sellouts, the sharks, the stuffed suits salivating over the upcoming carnage in Iraq and how fat their bank accounts would become because of it. Bush's arrogance. The bombs falling in the desert.

Eisenhower's words were so eerily prophetic.

Mostly it was Michael Moore driving around in an ice cream truck heckling congressmen. Powerful stuff.

24. That one congressman is PISSED
I actually feel kinda bad for him.

Mark Kennedy no fan of movie ad he's in
http://www.twincities.com/mld/twincities/news/8832793.htm

BY TOM WEBB
Washington Correspondent

A Minnesota lawmaker is coming soon to a theater near you — but already, U.S. Rep. Mark Kennedy, R-Watertown, is giving the movie a big thumbs-down.

The trailer for a controversial new film by liberal gadfly Michael Moore, called "Fahrenheit 9/11," contains a segment where Moore conducts ambush interviews with various members of Congress. Kennedy is among those Moore pursues to inquire, "Congressman, I'm trying to get members of Congress to get their kids to enlist in the Army to go over to Iraq."

While the movie's preview — viewable at www.michaelmoore.com — shows Moore asking Kennedy the question, it doesn't include Kennedy's response to Moore.

If it did, viewers would hear "that he has two nephews — one in Afghanistan, one in Iraq — that are proud to serve," said Anne Mason, Kennedy's spokeswoman. "But that's, of course, the part you don't hear."

26. I don't feel bad for him
Please note the (R) next to his name. Kennedy's an ass and using his experience (if, indeed, it even happened the way he said it did) to discredit Moore. Kennedy's a true-blue repug and can't be trusted. He's just trying to protect his "boss," that's all.

32. Nephews aren't your kids...
I'm sure it's heartwrenching to have family members in the service, but I have no more influence over my neices that their parents... why would that be relevant to Moore's assertions.

That is what Moore is asking. Nephews Shmephews - thats a complete non-sequitur.

27. The truth really gets to stupid people
I LOVE that! That sums up any negative reactions to the 9/11 movie don't ya think?

As for tears, I am pathetic. Living in a targeted Ad state I never know when I will be forced to run screaming to change the channel when a Shrubscum ad comes on.

When Kerry comes on, I get weepie. I just want the nightmare to end.(and I know he's no savior, but my God that's how bad it is for me-just end this nightmare please)

He looks kind to me and very Presidential. (and six months ago-I didn't even like him very much at all)

28. Has taken over 2 1/2 years for a little truth in the
United States of America!

Made me weepy too I have to admit. Even a little now thinking about it.

I've always had my disagreements with some things in this country, but never in my wildest imagination did I think it could get this bad.
