When they tout a 'recovering economy' be sure to mention a 'mortgaged
future' for our children. These 'family value' Republicans have seriously mortgaged the future of OUR children (not theirs because they will inherit with no taxes billions of dollars)for years to come. The dittoheads in the red states really don't understand this. Their poor asses believe that tax reductions and estate tax reductions will actually benefit them.

2. Nope, not true at all
Or is that just what your RW fascist friends told you to think?

I don't want to raise taxes on the poor or the middle class, just the wealthy elite. Do you realize they are actually paying LESS taxes proportionately than they were 20 years ago. The gap between rich and poor is growing larger and larger on the backs of the working class.

Tell me, how much do you make? Do you actually think you benefited from the tax cuts? You really think these guys are your friends? They are pissing on you and telling you it's raining and you keep coming back for more.

4. Maybe Margaret Thatcher was right...
"There is no such thing as society. Only men, women, and families."

Well, businessmen, businesswomen, and partners is what she really means. She'd turn families and societies into McSoylent Sandwiches if she could. x(

5. hey
I think everybody needs to pay higher taxes and that doesn't make me right wing. Lots of people don't even pay income tax, I think the minimum income tax should be around %30 and the highest around %80 so we can complete the great society.

3. "Family values" is a crock of decaying cattle cack! So, what happens when
They say all the lovey-dovey family things along with "tax breaks for you" to woo the middle class, those too busy to think, those too lazy to think, and so on. Especially to the non-thinkers because everything the repukes do is NOT in the interests of the future but for corporate america's NOW.

The repukes/corporate america are BANKRUPTING THIS COUNTRY faster than you can say "Shazam!"

So, what happens when a big terror attack, no more oil (via depletion or successful terror attack in Saudi Arabia), or anything else that could destroy American life as we know it? Do the rich turn into lower class while what were the middle and lower classes beat the shit out of each other for mere survival?

6. I didn't get a chance to see the response that was removed but...
to those of you who think you have received a nice tax cut, go back to just before the tax cut and figure out how much you Federal, state, and local 'fees' and 'tolls' have increased since then. And look for them to increase more in the future. Revenues to take care of services at all levels have to come from somewhere and that somewhere is from you and me, the unwealthy. Wealthy folks don't usually have need of many services from the government...they can afford to pay up front or at least find a way to use all fees as a business expense. If you pay $120/month in highway tolls to get to work plus about 1/3 more for gasoline, what percentage is that of your monthly income? Now figure how much your state or local district has increased fees for trash collection, highway maintenence etc. You get the picture. You didn't get a tax cut, you got a tax increase and shift. Now wait until 2005-2010 when the bills from this tax cutting, overspending, wealthy subsidizing administration come due. Bush is right, many of these wackos will be dead, but your children and grands will be left with a country teatering on collapse.
