Washington Post */Pope photo - unbelieveable

Help - can anyone post this photo for all to see? It is on the front page of todays Post - I'm sure it is in other papers also, and maybe the Post web site.

Pickles is talking to the Pope, and the Moron-In-Chief is standing nearby with a look on his face that, well, you HAVE to see.

(My scanner will not work with this Mac until I do a ltlle software work, or I'd post it myself. Sorry!)

24. Nope - couldn't get to the website before I posted

Very bad weather here in VA today, and I'm on dial-up. I live waaaaayyy out in the country - sometimes the phone folks have to come out and re-bury the phone lines from the pedestals deeper because the cows dig them up!

(honest)

I'm afraid if I leave DU I won't be able to get back on.

You can see them in some other shots. Real class, lady. Arrive in Italy and get your nails painted blood red to visit the Pope. The woman has zero class. Zero.

In my newspaper, Bush's nose looks so red ... it looks like W.C. Fields's nose after a five-day bender!

Laura Bush in a black mantilla. Jeepers. My mother looked better with a Kleenex on her head after she'd forgotten her hat at Mass pre-Vatican 2!!!!!!!!!

59. For pity's sakes, give it a rest.
Pickles looks great and was very dignified. Also, her skirt had to be below her knees before she sat down. Women know how much a skirt rises when you sit. She looked good and denigrating her is senseless. Give her some respect, however small, for putting up with that rotten husband all her life. Additionally, women are even wearing black at weddings these days. It's very flattering on most women. However, assuming they might get back for the funeral, what will she wear now?

14. Maybe it's the Roman Catholic version of a "chador" -
women have to cover up their hair in the presence of the Pope so he won't be overcome with unseemly lust. Makes as much sense as most of the rest of their wretched dogma.

39. Yes, you just do it differently - I think

I should know, actually - a long long time ago I used to work in RFID/IT. I gave it up to build furniture for a living, and I've completely (deliberately) forgotten all or most of what I used to know. I bought a Mac to further distance myself from all the Windows shit I used to have to do. Or undo.

I guess I'll have to (under duress) come out of my self- imposed Paleozoic Era for a while and try and remember stuff... :)

Highlight text, then hit Apple-c. The click on where you want to paste, then hit Apple-v

If you have two browser windows open, or a text window, you can highlight the URL then drag and drop it. You can do that with images.

You can get multiple button mice cheap now. Logitech makes good cheap mice.

Isn't it interesting that this obviously unflattering picture is the one papers are running with.

The Globe photo is huge.

Also notice that Andy Card and everyone sitting down is paying attention to the Pope. Everyone but Bush.

53. It's sad to compare the Chimp's performance with any other president's
Reagan looked good when he made foreign visits. Clinton was perfect - natural, strong, statesmanlike.

Even Poppy Bush usually got it right except when he got it spectacularly wrong (hey, anyone could throw up on the Japanese Prime Minister).

The Chimp can't ever, ever get it right. Despite constant training and practice, this Chimp just can't learn. Apparently he doesn't care enough to even try.

Or maybe acting like a buffoon all over the world is a secret code to his freeper-base. He's saying that the rest of the world is so beneath contempt, the 'Murican president doesn't need to learn protocol?
