I hope that the Reupblicans don't use that as a battle cry in 2004. His family suffered far to much to be used like that.

6. Well gee... they wouldn't want to politicize a thing like a memorial
or the man's memory... now would they? If so, will the press be as unforgiving as they had been regarding Wellstone's memorial?

7. I'm betting they will.
They'll politicise their blessed Saint Ronnie's passing as much as they can, and the media won't call them on the fact they're being bloody hypocrites while doing so.

At least he gorked off now, rather than during the GOP convention.

10. if they do, i think it will backfire on them like it has in the past.
first of all, i can't see nancy allowing them to use her husband like that. secondly, they were recently burned with the pat tillman death. and finally, when they tried to capitalize on the 911 deaths, they got smacked down.

if they are that desperate, then they will run with it. if they do, i say more fodder for us. "neocons exploiting and campaigning on the death of ex president reagan". that will ring some bells.
