Is George Tenet the "mother of all patsies"?
Here is a guy with a reputation for wantig to please his superiors, to "get along" with everybody..... The neocons set up their own hack intelligence opperation (office of special plans) and then jaw-bone about their cooked WMD/terror evidence for months.... Finaly Schlepper Tenet cracks from the pressure and rubber stamps their fiction.. chimp gets his war: it turns to shit & no WMD exist.... The spin finger points to "falty intelligence" from the CIA as the Office of Special Plans quietly slips out the back door, un-noticed by the press....... The result is that Tenet takes the fall & chimp comes up with a perfect scapegoat & we never hear about the PNAC run OSP again.... Everybody lives "happily ever after" (unless they are Iraqi or US military, of course).

1. Expect some more "stuff" to get
uncovered if the CIA liked Tenet. That's their organization that Bush is messing with.

2. According to this article, he was fired
Bush wouldn't tolerate any "disloyalty" when Tenet disagreed with him, so he fired him, shocking both Tenet and everybody else in the WH. The patsy-effect looks more like a beneficial side effect from *'s growing pschosis.

3. Like I said,
the patsy effect won't last. Bush has messed with the wrong organization. They know everything about everyone...and what they don't know they can make up and produce the proper documents to prove they didn't make it up.
