Why are some of the Reagan posts being locked?
I cannot help but notice this. What's that all about?

1. Because people are pissing on his grave.
That's low class, I don't care how much you hated the man when he was President.

I am pretty indifferent about it actually.

2. Probably because of overwhelming quantity rather than content
What I've seen so far has been relatively mild, considering.

5. They are being locked because these threads
are dominating the first 3 pages of the forum
and the threads have basically the same
information in them. We should make room
for threads with different topics.

8. It's what people are talking about
But there should be more threads about Bush in Paris. Sounded like he made a complete ass out of himself.

I'm not too worried, though. Lots more time for that before November.

9. An explanation should be pinned to the top of the forum,
or an explanation should be put into the thread. It sucks
when threads are locked with no reason given.

18. It takes less time to give an explanation and
lock an thread than it does to deal with all of the
questions that come afterwards from doing it the
other way.

16. It's just not that big of a deal.
And another thread whining about the whining doesn't help.

17. What whining?
You don't know what you are talking about.

I think explanations to why the posts are locked are necessary.

19. I don't.
But I don't make the decisions. I just don't know how many threads we need on the life, death, and posts about the posts on his life and death.
