All right, I apologize for my previous comments
I was little sick considering the massive eulogizing and disgusting slobbering on right wing boards and in general I was seeing. But now I'll have to say I agree with the "let's have some class folks".

Feel free to trash his record all you want, or write "obituaries", but can we at least refrain from the "time to celebrate!" style posts? I will from now on.

1. Thats really all thats required to show "class"
A truly misguided and deluded former president is gone. There's no cause for mourning, but celebration is just tacky and tasteless.

3. Exactly
Of course, saying that makes you a member of the DU "thought police." Just a forewarning.

5. I'm not celebrating anything. I just want the truth told
and you know that ain't gonna happen.

Unless we do it.

6. There is no reason to celebrate:
All of "Saint" Ronnie's putrid policies are still in effect or built upon by every president who has taken office since. And I see nothing that will curtail or reverse those policies.

His legacy continues to destroy this very country along with the lives of many within.

I will celebrate when every one of those godawful policies is changed back.

As for the man: Good riddance to bad bacteria. That's all I've got to say. He is hardly worth celebrating over.

7. I'll climb aboard and apologize for my remarks as well...
I still believe that his legacy is very much tainted, and that he was mostly a fraud, but in terms of his passing, I will send my condolences to his family.
