You know what? I'm sorry Reagan died today
Because there are MORE important things happening in our world RIGHT NOW that will now be ignored by the media while they fawn over Saint Ronnie. Soldiers dying in an illegal war, Iraqi's being liberated to DEATH, but not before being tortured and humiliated. Our once great country being run into the ground by a gang of criminals masquerading as our leaders. Black box voting, terrorist attacks that need to be thwarted... I could go on all night, but you get the idea.

I don't particularly care one way or another about Saint Ronnie dying. He was a horrible president and the things I had to say about him and his evil BS that he tried to pass off as leadership while he was alive and cognizant would make a sailor blush. I won't say any of those things now, because it's just pointless and mean to go there. May he rest in peace, now can we get back to the IMPORTANT stuff, PLEASE???

end of rant

1. Yeah
Maybe it's because I'm younger and had no understanding of politics when he was president, but it just doesn't matter to me.

The way I see it is that the right has one more thing to try to exploit to their advantage. I'm sure Karl Rove's first reaction was, "how do we capitalize on his death for our election".

2. Yeah, the next few days will be horrible with all the fawning...
...I plan on turning off the television for a week.

You, having my mohter die about a month ago from Alzheimer's really doesn't make me feel at all sorry for him. It's a terrible diseased, but he was a terrible man.
