ABC News describing the Iran Contra scandal right now
on the day Reagan died!!! Talking about how he claimed not to know what was going on "right under his feet" in the White House. How people believed this because his presidency was so "disconnected".

I can't beleive they even mentioned this.

Now telling about all his embarassing moments: falling asleep in an audience with the Pope, joking about bombing, Nancy prompting him on matters of international policy, etc.

9. Let's see if they mention Nicaragua, David Stockman, "Tricke down
economics was a trojan horse," etc.

Honest coverage from the American media? That's laughable.

10. Fair coverage means the highlights, both good and bad,...
if they do that, I will consider it honest.

12. The good?
Reagan did not end "Communism." Nor did he contribute AT ALL to the downfall of the Soviet Union. In fact, he actually prolonged the inevitable collapse of the Soviet Union.

4. He probably DIDN"T know...
Remember, Bush41 was his VP and even then Reagan was having trouble staying awake.

So he testifies that "he doesn't recall" and they let him go.

5. Good!
that's his legacy, and nobody should never forget it! And that's what those who bring up his death to me will hear.

6. When are people going to start saying Reagan supported terrorism?
I don't mean to be disrespectful by bringing this up today, but that's what the Iran-Contra scandal was. He sold weapons to a terrorist state and gave money to another group of terrorists in Nicaragua. Is everyone in the media to scared to use that word? I've been waiting for the past two years to see if anyone in the press was honest enough to call it what it was.

8. Don't apologize, Speak your truth.
You cannot separate the man from the policy, the man from his actions.
