A Dilemma for the Networks....
They had their shows already scripted...Omaha Beach....the beaches of Normandy. 60 years since that date...interviews with veterans from that great event. Bush to give speech from there. Every network with a newsperson in France....then......Ronald Reagan dies.. What do they do now? How much time do they devote to D-Day since they have so much invested already? Decisions.....decisions... :)

1. Anything that takes the spotlight off Bush I approve of
More Reagan, less Bush.

4. Great timing for shrub...eh?
any faux pas will be put on another burner. The sad thing is many of the old true heros/-- WW11 veterans for whom this celebration means a lot may not get all the media coverage that they really deserve!

8. Yes, with another rubber turkey!
Bush has a fondness for long distance catering.

2. Give it a week...Reagan will fade from the spotlight.
Boy, I sure am enjoying the music of the 70's on PBS. Anybody else?
That had to be some of the best music of all time.

9. How can you beat Motown?
They were the peak of the 60's, I think, but there was some great music in the early 70's, imo..
