There is no comparison between Reagan's death and that of Kennedy
Kennedy was a good man who worked hard to make life better in America for everyone. Reagan, though he was effectively braindead through his entire administration, only helped the rich and the greedy and made the sick sicker and minorities worse off.

We cannot change who Reagan was and pretending he was a better President than he was is an insult to everyone he hurt.

If you want to find out more about Reagan, read "Landslide: The Unmaking of the Presidency, 1980-1988." It was written by two Republican reporters who had free access to the White House. People there joked about how Reagan was the "Absent President." Everyone in the White House had authority to sign Reagan's name onto anything. He once tried to write a speech and his speechwriter told him that, if he gave it, he would be laughed out of office.

1. One important difference
Republican presidents get to die quiet deaths in their beds. Democratic presidents have their heads blown off.

(I do realize Reagan was shot, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if the rumors are true and Bush 41 had something to do with that.)

2. 93-Years old!!!!
Yes, I feel sorry for the family, it's hard losing a family member no matter how old and especially when there has been a long lingering illness....but....Nancy was fortunate enough to have both medical and personal help 24/7 and have him remain at home throughout his illness. For God's sake, HE WAS 93, how long did they want him to lay around in a vegatative state??? Why is he being shipped to DC for an elaborate State viewing????? Why isn't he being viewed at his Library???? Am I being to cold-hearted to think that this is not the viewing of Kennedy, nor Lincoln, who were sitting Presidents at the time of their deaths???? I am waiting for one of these adled brained Pugs to come up with stuffing the guy and propping him up on the Mall in DC. They are sick puppies.

5. It is strange
Like this guy was a saint or something. But I have wondered why the right loved Reagan so much. Anyway, I am not sad he is dead. It is good that his and his family's suffering is over. I hope I am allowed to say that-some people around here are a little sensitive. And he was freaking 93!! It is not like it was unexpected and it is probably more of a relief to the family than anything.

3. Bush 41
indeed had something to do with the shooting. Through his son Neil.

Bush 41 was also the head of the Texas CIA office in 1963 when JFK was shot.
