Use draftees only to fill military needs


Conscription in time of war might be the fair way to distribute the burden of battle, but it's good only in theory.

Yet, there comes a time if enough volunteers don't enlist to fill the ranks, or to expand them when an army runs short, the draft is the inevitable solution.

with all the D-Day anniversary coverage, Bush has found another way to make it as though his war in Iraq is on the same moral plane.

Hopefully people will see through these lies, and will not allow more young Americans to be sacrificed for a war based on lies. I know that I won't sacrifice my life (as a young male of draft age) for his lies.
