22. He was GREAT...I loathe my ignorance o'politics in the 80's.....
....I was completely oblivious and rather annoyed by politics in my ignorance....once I was shown the bigger picture thru the eyes of someone who'd grown up a Democrat...was I enlightened and became involved....David Duke was the first person I voted AGAINST...and BILL CLINTON...was the first person I voted FOR! :thumbsup:

19. My leader/idol/god in the 80's was MTV...I was completely obsessed.....

....I've not bought TV since 1990...I'm a fully recovered cable'holic! :evilgrin:

on edit....well I only paid for cable m'self for about 6months....we had cablevision when it first came to our town...then moved out into the sticks and got one of the first home satellite systems...the one where ya gotta go crank it manually to change sets o'channels...then we got one o'those illegal descramblers with remote control....it was when I got out on m'own and HAD TO START PAYIN' for cable that I wised up to cable and their corporate extortion! :evilfrown:
