Pass this along to fence sitters who aren't sure if they will vote for Kerry but don't quite feel they can vote for Bush. Let them know a vote for Kerry keeps THIS kind of platform at bay - far at bay.

A scary, scary bunch. Imagine a bunch of Tom Delay-clones. That is what the modern Texas Republican Party resembles. Almost all of the old-school conservatives have left, leaving these asshats in charge. Scary, scary, scary...these people want to return to the '50s. The 1850s.

Reading the online Statesman every morning is a ritual. I don't feel like actually subscribing, since as an actual newspaper, it stinks.
