Watched a few minutes of the Ronathon yesterday.
It reminded me of an old joke:

A man died and left a wife and several children. During the funeral, the preacher went on and on about how the deceased was a good man; how this man was a good husband and provider; and how this man was a good father. After hearing this lengthy string of accolades in tribute to the departed, the mother turned to the eldest child and said, “Go on up there and look in that casket and see if that’s your Daddy in there…”

During any of the Ronathon, did anyone make mention of his being the most criminal administration in recent memory? Or of the Iran/Contra scandal? Or of the pardons made by Bush I to keep six of his henchmen out of prison? Or of the fact that several of those crooks and liars are now in the present administration?

I wonder...

I was referring primarily to those "public officials" who had to be pardoned in order to avoid prison sentences. So far, no one in the Bush II administration has had face the prospect of a pardon...yet.

I agree that Bush II and his ilk are the most criminally insane in ALL of American history, and I hope that MANY of them will have to be pardoned IF they want to avoid prison...NOT that they WILL be pardoned, but that the outcome of all this mess will be that they will HAVE to be pardoned IF they want to avoid prison...

on edit: For what it's worth, I hope they ALL rot in a prison of their own making...

3. Greg Palast, of course, had the guts
To call him what he was: A conman. A coward. A killer.

I can't mourn Reagan. I read Howard Zinn.

Anderson Cooper was the anchor at the time I was watching.
