1. why six days until the funeral?
I'm NOT watching TV or anything with the endless glorification of RR so what is the excuse for the long time between death and the funeral? Even JFK---young and dead unexpectedly through murder was buried with full honors in 3 days. What is the reason given for this looooong time lag with Reagan? Are the openly saying that they are dragging it out?

4. It will probably take six days to gather up the 1,000 virgins
who will be buried alive with the Gipper.

18. Somebody wants a JFK-like event, I think, - won't happen no matter
how badly they want it due to R.R.'s advanced age, no young family, to mourn him,and the fact that he didn't die in office.
Plus, to me, he just never began to have Kennedy's charisma. This funeral, regardless of the pomp and circumstance, will never be recorded indelibly in the national memory as the JFK one will always be.

2. The daughter (can't remember her name)
looks so tacky. You'd think they could have found her a decent outfit to wear. Something other than a black mini half-way up her thighs.

14. Why do so many older people in the spotlight wear them?
I know Cary Grant used to, also, on a local level, Harry Carey, Cubs announcer.
I've seen others, too - reminds me of Joan Crawford's eyebrows. I think it may be an old show biz trick to move the eye of the onlooker to the upper part of the face and away from the droopy, jowly bottom part of the face.

22. I like them..and I'm older...I guess it's a senior thing....and I could
care less about RR and family....but I did feel sorrow for her at the casket...they had a long relationship and no matter what else transpired...she will miss him.

23. The loss of a spouse one loved is always tragic.
My parents are approximately Nancy's age (actually I don't know how old she is, but I assume its within a decade of Ron's age), and either one will be devastated when the other passes.
