2. Naah, that's more of a "Caligula" or "Nero" Bush kind of thing
By the time Caligula & Nero are ready for Stuffed Raygun, his body won't be available.

Anyway, THOSE monsters will wish to lionize Poppy Bush as the Tre Imperial Amerikan Augustus.

And I think they'd be right. Raygun was a puppet. When his mind finally went fully in 1984 or 1985, he became a Patsy.

Poppy Bush is Amerikan Augustus.

3. I half expected them to drag his rotting corpse around on the ...
campaign trail. It looks like some time next week before he goes in the hole.

4. LOL - He is the Right's Icon, another tribute to their short
sightedness. Best eulogies I've found are at:

(Killer, Coward, Conman - Good Riddance, Ronnie; More Proof Only the Good Die Young)

And from a blogger at ofrankenfactor.com:

---
"Reagan's real legacy is not the 'defeat of communism', it is the entrenchment of narrow blinkered ideology over reason. It is the institutionalization of the advancement of the privileged few at the expense of the majority, it is the promulgation of action without consequence or accountability. It is the establishment of the means by which the supposed servants of the nation have become the nation's masters, and the original model of America as a land of tolerance and freedom, equality and justice, conscience, humanity and social progress have been sold to the basest elements of human nature--greed, power and violence.

Were it not for Reagan, we might not have had George Bush, representative of the "free" world, of the Declaration of Independence, reviled in his own country and throughout the world.

Thanks Ron. Nobody's perfect, and it's not all your fault, there is some blame to be shared. May you rest in peace and take comfort that, as deluded, stupid and mendacious as you were, GW has got you licked."

I thought that was brilliantly said.

8. To hear some talk about him, he is a 'national treasure'
Maybe they should put him on tour around the country.

9. Maybe, since he is a saint, he will not rot
and that will be a sign that he is, indeed, a holy saint and he will be put into a glass sarcophagus so people can gaze at his miraculously preserved body and pray to him and some miracles might even be attributed to him.
