R. S. V. P. Republicans Under God
Fomenting some action... (heh, heh)

"About Us

"Republicans Under God is a grassroots non-profit "527" political organization whose primary purpose is to educate voters.  The organization began in response to liberals whose agenda is to remove God from the affairs of the this great nation.  We are working to bring Godly men and women back into the political process.  We are manning the front lines against Atheist billionaires, Hollywood elitists, and liberal representatives who attack the very foundation of this Republic.

"As Republicans Under God, we believe as our Founding Fathers believed.  We believe in God. We believe that all men are created equal.  We believe that our rights are derived from God.  We believe that God has granted us certain rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

"Unfortunately, there are political activists who are against life (abortion), against liberties (second Amend.), and against the pursuit of happiness by the average citizen (higher taxes). However, what is most disturbing is that they are against God.

"As Republicans Under God, it is our calling to stop these liberals from destroying our Godly heritage.  It is simply not good enough to say that we oppose their views or that their agenda should be stopped. It is an absolute must for Godly Americans to rally to the defense of this Republic.  A Republic that is still One Nation Under God. "

11. If they can get the public to swallow this revisionist crap
If they can get the public to swallow this revisionist state-religion crap, they're one step closer to ending the free discourse and exchange of ideas upon which all Democracy is based. They intentionally use the term "Republic" only to imply to thier ignorant base that America is for Republicans, not that our Republic is intended to be a representive Democracy.

Disengenuous populist word-manipulators. Dangerous.

12. Okay, let's let Christianity have a broader role in government.
Will that Christianity be Catholicism, Baptist, Mormon, Shaker, and on and on ad nauseum? Does each sect get a quota of laws they want enacted / modified? Just how are we going to manage this?

The Christians can barely agree on the day of the week, yet we're supposed to implement Christian values in the fabric of our government.

Oh please!
