3. No I don't.
I don't have to "admire" him. Nor do I have to lust for him and desire to make a baby with him, like Peggy Noonan.

Yeah, here it comes, the official "rehabilitation" of Ronaldus Rex. "love him or hate him, you have to admire him..." What tripe!

Maybe they should put together a tribute to him and call it "Everyone LOVES Ronnie".

And I'm SICK of seeing posts about "You shouldn't say BAD things about Reagan. The Freepers are watching!" or "You should have RESPECT for the Dead"...Well, maybe if that newly-dead guy had given a little respect for the LIVING!

5. what else needs to be said:
"The whole thing was PR. This was a PR outfit that became President and took over the country. And to the degree then to which the Constitution forced them to do things like make a budget, run foreign policy and all that, they sort of did. But their first, last, and overarching activity was public relations."
- former Reagan press aide Leslie Janka, as quoted by Mark Hertsgaard in "On Bended Knee: The Press and the Reagan Presidency."
