In the naming of Great Presidents, the name bush* never comes up.
In all the eulogies of Raygun, pundits have been asking who ARE the greatest presidents. Never a hint of the bush* name. Even to republicans, chimp and pa can only hide in Rayguns shadow. Nowhere men.

1. Not really surprising
that they don't come up cause they don't belong. Shrub even less cause he was appointed.

2. Sam Donalson made a curious remark today during an interview w/Poppy..
After listening to GHWB blather on and on about Reagan, he recalled when Bush himself was seeking the GOP nomination against RR. He said he lost the nomination to RR and was completely surprised when Reagan picked "him" as his VP...

The general conversation between Donalson and Bush I was highlighting Reagan's gentlemanly qualities, separating the man from the politician.

Suddenly, Donalson in a monotoned voice pops up with:
"And if RR hadn't picked GHWB as VP, he never would have been No. 41,
And likewise, GWB wouldn't have been No.43."

Then Donalson smiled like a Cheshire cat..

Those were the last words of the interview.

eerie and strange way to end an interview, I thought..
Almost like Donalson was sending Bush a subliminal message.

6. Don't worry, History will Judge GWB, and perhaps a Grand Jury will too
in the Plame Case! I understand he has secured a high-priced lawyer.

Welcome to DU and enjoy your stay!
