(I'm not naive enough to believe the will under the current administration.)

BUT...when IS that coming anyway? Remember one of the first things Bush* did when he took office was to block their release. Likely, he's helping daddy hide something, but when Kerry gets in, when can this stuff come out legally?

1. Yes, Kerry can countermand Bush's Executive Order
And I haven't seen the outcome of the lawsuit which said that Stupidhead's Executive Order can overcome a law passed by Congress, but I don't think that any court will really uphold it. I think right now they're "vetting" Reagan's papers for national security purposes. But they're not being too quick about it.

Aggravating to watch these crooks get away with covering their crimes.

2. As soon as he reverses Bush's executive order....
And all the crimes of Reagan and Bush I will come spilling out and the Democrats will ignore it and give them a free ride.

5. Nope, they were due out....
the first year of Bushie's term -- one of the very first things he did upon taking office was to put the kabash on their release via Executive Order. Under the Presidential Records Act it's 12 years from leaving office.

George didn't want the world seeing all the evil-doing his Daddy had been up to under Ronnie.

4. Yeah, they'll release them.
Covered in two tons of concrete and sunk to the lowest point in the ocean.

6. This country doesn't want to know the truth.
The American people would rather believe the fairy tale.
