I was lucky enough to book a band called IZM for my Rock the Vote show. They are an all black, punk/funk/alternative band from Oxford, MS. The crowd was BLOWN away by their charisma and just plain awesomeness. They are inspired by the Pixies and Nirvanah. They write all their own music and can play Purple Haze like Jimmy Hendrix. They all could be models, Bishop the lead singer stomps those American Idol losers when it comes to singing, and they are politically active as well. They sing this song called Be Like Me about how everyone wants to act like a black man. They fucking rule and hopefully they will get booked for Atlanta's Lollapalooza. Has anyone here heard them yet, they are about to get a college tour. I have never meet anyone that I knew was going to be famous before, until I met them. It just radiates off of them, a vibe I can' t even begin to describe.

I just thought I'd share, and tell everyone to keep an eye out, these boys are going straight to the top.

IZM look out for them.
