I ask it again: When does George W. Bush become "expendable"...
as a candidate for the vaunted Powers That Be?

This DU thread regarding the Ruppert report has me thinking "sooner than anyone is willing to admit": http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=104x1752802

Surely it's dawned on anyone that has any interest in their financial health, and the financial health of this nation, that it would be so much better, easier, and far less expensive to have a smart puppet in the White House, rather than one who is a willfully ignorant and arrogant halfwit. Surely it's dawned on them that this fool RUINS everything he touches, even their own painstaking, best laid plans. The moron can't even get Reagan's death right; his Attorney General's torture memos have chased St. Reagan's bodily ascension into Heaven right off the front page.

So when do they send him home and put someone else in the line-up?

1. If Cheney drops off the ticket and Jebbie goes on it
the war chimp needs to get a food taster. Yes, he's an extreme liability, but even the GOP zealots know people would never accept Cheney in the top spot. The man just plain looks like what he is.

Get another corrupt Bush on the ticket, or another puppet from outside that family, and Chimpo is history.

3. As long as NeoCons in every power position....
And they all stick together there is no reason to have GW become expendable.

The thing is when every major (Real) power position in government is controlled by neocons...

FBI, CIA, Top Brass in Military, NSA, Pres, Veep, House and Senate Majority leaders and enough of the SCOTUS to sway the conservatives and keep them inline then Bush will stay right where he is.

Short of small plane "accidents" I feel things will pretty much stay right where they are. The only glimmer of hope is a massive voter rejection of BUsh so huge that there would be no possible way of fixing the vote. Unfortunately it looks like Florida is again going to tip the scales....as most Americans are glad to see the U.S. of A. kicking ass, torturing and taking names. They don't care if DIck Cheney is a crook, GW is bone head and Rumsfeld, Ashcroft and Wolfowitz are as dirty and low as the Nazis...as long as nothing interupts Walmart's low prices, NASCAR this summer and Football season in the fall the citizens of country will care less.

6. Junior prays daily that Poppy has a long life
If the old man should become Ronnie's neighbor in Hell anytime soon, the neocons might suddenly lose any sense of loyalty to the Bush family.
