Help needed...Question about the FL vote purge list
With the list of "suspected" and "potential" felons given to election supervisors in Florida, what steps does a person need to take in order to 'prove' they should not be on that list and be allowed to vote?

1. First they MUST answer certified letter!
I suspect saying that they are not a felon would be next!

Good luck to any hit my Jeb's latest favor to the minority population in Florida.

3. Just say no?
LOL - The whole thing sounds screwy to me. What happens when the 'certified' letter isn't accepted or is delivered to the wrong address? Sounds silly, but I'm entering a pissing contest over this with a RW FL resident and need to know my facts on the issue.

It's developing. His premise (right now...it usually morphs and changes) is that we/they are all 'potential' felons and it's up to the individual to clear their name. I believe this places an undue burden on innocent voters, but I can't say until I know what the facts of what the burden is.

2. About Six Years
Edited on Wed Jun-09-04 10:47 AM by AndyTiedye
and probably lots of money for lawyers.

(Six years was the Fla. government's own estimate for when the wrongfully disenfrancised voters would all be reinstated.
2006. Losing out on TWO Presidential elections. Since they are
throwing more voters off this year, this estimate is probably low).
