Heirarchical Propaganda--Barbara Walters' adoring and respectful tones

Listening to the ABC coverage of the Reagan funeral, and hearing the adoring and respectful tones of Barbara Walters, I am struck by the naked propaganda aspect of this entire reagan spectacle. THis is how our young are indoctrinated into the hierarchical aspects of human society. They are learning here and now that there are those who are on the top of the heirarchy, and that we proles must give unto them our obesiance. THis propganda is putting us in our place. And it is all arranged by others of those at the top of the social hierarchy.

I think it is more a result of that friendship than a Repub political alliance (e.g., she's also tight with Martha Stewart and I have noticed her wince when 20/20 John Stosil spews some of his RW garbage)...

The old (jounalistic) whore ain't getting much work these days. When there's a chance to make a buck, she's there. Whoe cares about her career future: there ain't one for this ol' rag.
