utter nonsense.

Been there. Done that.

Nader won't win. Get over it.

Besides, look to what bushko* is planning to bend or break the rules to force another 'supreme' court decision.

(no disrespect intended, but how many Nader posts distract us from the more imperiling issues of Election 2004?)

22. There are other reasons too you know...
To make Nader the Jesus Christ of the 2000 election completely ignores all the other fuckups of the Democrats.

Never forget this...THE DEMOCRATS TOLD GORE TO STOP IT AND CONCEDED TO BUSH.

There is plenty of blame to go around but to say that Nader is THE reason that Bush is in office is just pure stupidity.

I voted for Gore by the way. And I would vote for him again in an instant.

35. Dirty work
In Union politics there is a technique to divide and conquer your opponent by putting a stooge in a race to divide the vote. When there is no run off, like the general election in our country, the stooge usually can find some morons who can't count to throw their votes away, thus assuring the victory to the least worthy candidate. In this scenario, where do you think you fit?

Nader isnt your enemy. Saying Nader cost you the race is admitting that Bush won florida, sorry but I know better. In a democracy people are allowed to run for whatever political office they want. Why dont you say Larouche stole the presidency, or pat buchannan. Geez it makes as much sense.

7. Nader is as much the enemy as Bush
Nader absolutely put Bush in power. If Gore won Fla. by 50,000 votes, no one could have stolen it. And don't forget N.H. If you don't vote, or you vote for anyone but Kerry, you might as well be for Bush, because you harm our effort to defeat that scumbag more than they do. None of those assholes can convince us not to Vote Kerry, but your convoluted logic may convince another weak-minded individual that it's fun to fuck up an election.

John Forbes Kerry's initials are JFK.

Sorry. Don't blame the messenger for the message, my 1933 German Communist friend (no, I don't think you are a Communist, but merely replicating the same mistakes of the German Communists in the face of Hitler).

I hope they at least drag your ass off to the Gulags for a little Abu Ghrahib before me.

You deserve the extra time at the end of Lynndie's leash as punishemnet for being extra shortsighted.

My apologies if I offend. Remember, a vote for Von Papen is a vote for Hitler!

38. Oh my yes, it's so very very true!
I'm sorry. It is. I don't like it any more than you and I don't like having to be pissed at people for exercising their democratic (small d) prerogative.

But these are NOT ordinary times. They are the most EXTRAORDINARY TIMES any of us will ever see and that which NONE of us ever wanted to see. Because of that crazy things are happening and the weirdest ofunexpected circumstances.

But there you have it. I don't like it any more than you do.

I hope I have explained adequately or shed some light on the Democratic Side here.

There is such a misunderstanding betwen the Dems and Greens when we are natural allies.

This is not how things ought to be but the system is so stressed now that only the most rapid nonviolent restoration of the system of checks and balances can hope to save us.

Please try and understand, Greens.

Please vote for Kerry.

52. That's True
But that's not being done, is it?

It appears that the DLC is either taking the votes of liberals and progressives for granted and/or is prepared to write off those votes. They have done a pretty good job in marginalizing Kucinich and other progressives in the Democratic Party.
For the DLC it's Anybody But Kucinich or Nader!

No demands are being made on John Kerry by progressives. As one DU'er explained, no matter what Kerry says and does they will vote for him. So John Kerry is free to move or stay to the right (called the center) on any issue.

55. Yes. Then we can lose a ton of voters...
...because most people don't understand Nader's issues so the right-wing can spread any number of unmitigated rumors about his initiatives because there's this 2% of the population that votes based on them but won't do enough work to spread their ideas wide enough so that almost all Democrats will support them.

Sounds like a plan.
