by the end of his first term. Repugs have lured voters time and time again with promises of tax breaks why not use this to see if the Democratic party can get the poor and working poor and lower working class to get off their butts and vote.

CEOs getting millions when getting fired is ridiculous too.

Big corporations are also destroying small ones. They need to be curtailed too.

Before Reagan, the CEO/worker gulf was 40:1. Over the last 24 consistent years (no 8 year regression under Clinton, sorry) that number continued to raise until it became 523:1.

Actually, considering how workers have been doing TWICE the work for, inflation adjusted, the same amount of money, CEOs get 1024:1.

This needs to happen if America is to be a truly PROSPEROUS country.

Prosperous for as many Americans as possible. THAT is the fuckin' dream, folks. Repukes (DINOs and others who vote for the Corporation and not the people) are raping and perverting that dream into a two class caste society.

Could vary depending on economic status of the area. In Los Angeles, it could be $12.00 and in Oklahoma, perhaps, $10.00, etc...

6. I'd like to see wages more in line with educational hours spent

in classrooms. Not only is the synthetic average wage in a locality versus CEO wage obscene in the sense that the CEOs is some 400 times greater, but there's also a severe economic inefficiency in the wage levels for those of High School versus Professional education. The ratio of years spent (HS vs. Profession) is roughly 13:21.

It seems that at all sorts of differing levels, the "middle ground" has been disappearing and we have an economy of extremes. Extremely low wages for many, obscene wealth for a few.

There are several ways of remedying the chasm.
1. Raise minimum wage to about $20 per hour for high school graduates. (based upon 1993 census data)
2. Lower maximum compensation and wages for CEOs and other Professionals.
3. Decrease the number of years spent in K-12 to a number more in line with the economic compensation offered by "the system" for that education later in life.
