No to Nader
For those of you posting pro-Nader Bullshit, Here's two facts for you to ponder. If you're not unwittingly doing the dirty work for the Repukes, why aren't there any Nader for Prez threads on freepers. You know why, because Nader only takes votes from us, leaving them laughing. If there is no difference between Kerry and Bush, and they are both Corporate lackey's, why is it every major Union in America is behind Kerry. You know why? Because there is a difference. The difference is in work place safety, tax breaks to encourage companies to go overseas, health ins., job training, unemployment comp., arbitration and court appointments, where worker/management conflicts are resolved. It's not just a coincidence that Mass. is a strong Union state and Texas and Fla. are anti-Union. It is important that we defeat Bush. If Nader is at 45%, Bush 41%, and Kerry 6%, I'll be the biggest Nader supporter you ever saw. But I live in the real world where real people are getting really fucked over, and anyone who can't see that is either hopelessly naive or a plant from the other side.

20. READ THE RULES!
"WHO IS WELCOME ON DEMOCRATIC UNDERGROUND, AND WHO IS NOT

We welcome Democrats of all stripes, along with other progressives who will work with us to achieve our shared goals."

Our shared goal is to defeat Bush. By supporting Nader, you are supporting Bush.

So these disruptors are not following the rules.

Thank you, Very much!

4. The Primaries are over
If Mr. Ego thought he could get more than a spoiler's vote, why didn't he run in the primaries. Because he has good points but he is no more electable than my Barber.

8. Ok, I understand your dislike for Nader.
I'm still trying to figure out why so many people who claim to be democratic, are against being able to vote for different canididates for president.

It seems to be a contradiction. Or maybe I should just shut up and follow the party line?

BTW, while I like Nader and what he stands for, I'll be voting for everybody's favorite moderate, John Kerry.

TURN THEM SHITS UP! Alright, so I'm copying a sketch from Chappelle's show. Excuse me. :)

Democracy was played out in the primaries huh? So after the primaries, democracy is over? Hmm, so now I'm told.

Wake the fuck up, eh? Well, if being 'woke up' would result in me being in the D.A.D. group and not being able to accept that we do have a democracy, or something similar, then I think I'll just stay asleep. :)

29. I'm scared
Michigan shows Rep/Dem in a tie (STAT) 45/47

with Nader getting 5%!!!!!!

I live in Ann Arbor and move in really leftist circles- I don't know or have met a single Nader supporter (I do run into a lot for LaRouche).

So who are they? - first they have to have a phone - this mythical college Nader supporter doesn't, they probably are in Ann Arbor with a minority in East Lansing at State.

THEY DON'T EXIST! There is no Nader campaign in Ann Arbor - how does 5% of the elligible electorate state wide come out in favor of Nader???????

The Central and West Coast of Michigan is like living in Calvinist Holland - the wouldn't vote Dem if their (mortal) lives depended on it.

Nobody live up North

Screw concern about voting tallies I think the fix is already in!

33. The worst thing
Nader ever said was that Democrats and Republicans are alike. He said many times that there is no difference between the parties. Thank you for pointing out ONE of the ways that they're different. And for those of you who think Nader is so pure, why does he lie about the difference between the parties?

37. No to Nader indeed
Anyone who says that there isn't a difference between Bush and Kerry (as they said that there wasn't a difference between Bush and Gore) isn't paying goddamn attention.

Even if the ONLY difference between the two was the judges they appoint (and it isn't), this would be the most important election in a generation. Several SC slots will be opening up, and I for one do NOT want to see a court packed with Scalias and Thomases. God help us.

he appears as Capitalist-Lite.....but I am strongly supporting capitalist Kerry (and his to be announced capitalist VP) over the incumbent capitalists Bush and capitalist Cheney....(I feel Secretary of Defense capitalist Rumsfeld and Attorney General capitalist Ashcroft have to go).....

Although one could argue the benefits of the former Speaker of the House capitalist Gephart over capitalist Gingrich, we still have much progress that needs to be made in our country....(I do personally find Senator capitalist Durbin a likeable fellow....for a capitalist)....

Unfortunately, lately, the only new socialism our capitalists have brought us has been corporate-socialism.....old-fashion people-socialism has fallen out of favor (no money to be made)....

And that seems to be the crux of our problem....we just can't get good socialism from our capitalists anymore.....
