3. Mulroon?
Do you mean Mulroney, a former Prime Minister of Canada (conservative idiot)?

4. Not a eulogy, but
I thought Dick Cheney's speech the other night was best. Very simple and seemed heartfelt. Who thinks of Dick Cheney as a speaker? Surprised me.

5. It was just SO USA
To have Thatcher's pre-recorded eulogy performed, apparently without having been PREVIEWED, and to have her sitting next to Gorby. It was just too USA, at a State Funeral to have one of the enemies made friend by the deceased insulted and insulted and insulted and insulted and insulted.

And Mulroony (sp) comes along and continues.

I was hoping that Gorby would kick that British groupie, Thatcher, in the shins and have her wicked witch clad butt carried out by Gorby's folks and then dropped on her insensitive, not royal behind.

What a faux pas?

SOOOOOOOO republicanesque.

Does anybody else get as sick of USA arrogance as I do. I mean, for pete's sake, who in the hell do we think we are?

Yeah, we are a great nation, a powerful nation, might be a free nation someday again, but we are NOT perfect. Shining City on a Hill, indeed. Even with a new coating of holier than those krylon spray, this "city" has its sewers, and its termites, and its liars, and its shames.

We cannot look at the Shining City and think it does not require maintenance to keep from becoming a pile of stinking garbage.

Maintenance means voting.

Thanks.

6. Young Reagan Son in Simi Valley...
Got a bush slam in there too. Much more sincere since he was an offspring of the man and because he obviously doesn't like the Bushites.
