Major General broke out a private to carry the umbrella over he and Mrs. Reagan while the band played "going home" and they loaded Pres into the plane. But there was no room on the steps, so the General hoisted the umbrella himself and escourted her up to the plane. Good job General. You're a real trooper.

and my sympathies are with Nancy.

I also thought the Military Honor Guards and Military personnel in general did an excellent job.

I have no love lost for RR but the whole thing, though long, was elegant. (IMO)

He has had a loooong week. Salute him. And the "Old Guard" unit is a hell of a troop. One signal, and the rest done on silent count. Did not see a flaw anytime (not that I would recognize it).These are special special young men.
