1. I wish I could muster

up some indignation about this but frankly my dear, I don't give a damn. I want everyone to stay focused on the atrocities being committed NOW by this administration. We don't need the ugly hx of the Bush Family from 15, 50, or 150 years ago. We do need the addled ADD afflicted press to stay on this story:

2. There was a time when many American land-owners owned slaves

so this is not that big a deal. The only thing that might be said about this is that the Bushes have treated people shabbily for generations and show no signs of changing. Most American families who once owned slaves did not go on to finance Nazis and contribute to the eugenics movement in later generations.

But George W. Bush's own actions are what he should be held reponsible for and it is his actions since he took power that we must concentrate on.
