First of all, I have no idea if this is true. I kinda hope it isn't. It gives the BDSM community a bad name.

A Brief Statement.

I, Leola McConnell, do affirm that from the year 1998 until May 2003, I was PNAC member and radio talk show host William J. Bennett's Domina. I further stipulate that I counseled him to seek professional help for his gambling addiction. He declined.


When the first reporters came to me here in Sin City, from the very start they proceeded as if I had the burden of proving that a degenerate gambler was a liar, degenerate gamblers are by their very nature liars, they live a lie on a daily basis. The media people who came to Las Vegas wanting to talk to me about this behaved as if I sought them out. I did not seek them out, they contacted me.

I'll grant you, from her writings, I get the feeling she has some issues with men, but in general the BDSM community is made up of decent people who enjoy what they do. Safe, sane and consensual is the general motto.

Just because it is something you don't practice doesn't make it "repulsive".

Oh and sorry about the porn banner. I don't watch much porn, but I sell it 12 hrs/day everyday. It didn't even register with me, and the white text on black background on the tripod site was a terrible strain on the eyes.

This story first appeared on CalicoCat's blog. It was picked up by Wonkette and others. Calico Cat recently posted the following:

I have been scammed.

I have been in email contact with someone who claims to know someone who knows the dominatrix and has firsthand knowledge of her relationship with Bill Bennett. I now believe that this is a fictitious cover story. Either the dominatrix herself is this anonymous source, or it is her co-conspirator, possibly her boyfriend.

The scam artist is actually not too bright, yet he/she has the street smarts of someone who probably has past experience with conning people.

I should have smelled something wrong when the source started telling me how great looking Leola is. There are some hot babes with muscles, like Fawnia Mondey, but Leola McConnell isn’t one of them.

The source did a good job appealing to my vanity, with statements like “You blog guys are going to be where real news comes from in the future, watch and see.” Buttering me up by telling me what an important contribution I’m making to society. Telling me how courageous I am to cover this story when everyone else is afraid of it. I’m sure that flattery is a classic strategy used by confidence men.
