There may be others but this one tops the list. I have that one on tape. I never thought I'd actually record something as somber as a funeral but it was worth it. It's too bad we all can't go out with a bang like that.

2. I actually have JFK and Princess Di tied
they were both very sad and tragic but very grand affairs. Nothing like the circus we have been force fed for the last week.

3. nothing compares to the Kennedy funeral for me BUT
you're absolutely right, Diana's is right up there. Only 37, she died suddenly, unexpectedly, tragically, like JFK ... and neither the royals or the Kennedy's carried on like this. They had class and dignity; something sorely lacking with repuke reagan crowd.

4. That was a top-notch funeral.
This one is getting a little creepy for me. I don't remember anything like this, ever, in terms of duration and saturated coverage. It's really scary.

5. Diana's would have been better...
...if Elton John had played "Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting" instead. :)

(How many other people were out drinking when they heard about her death?)

8. I liked this one more
Adolf Hitler - 1945

Nothing beats your closest friends, a couple of gallons of petrol, and a shellhole care of the national enemy to say how much you will be missed by the people you rule.

9. I also have it on tape. It was an awesome funeral.
My downstairs neighbor came up at 5 in the morning with a box of Kleenex and we cried through the whole thing. The men walking behind the casket, Elton John singing, the hearse driving through the streets of London. Makes me want to watch it again. This one has no drama.
