a random bit of fighting back, not much, but I'm very pleased with myself
tonight I was at Barnes and Nobel, when a friend of mine, who is a former republican and now an independent, pointed out that not only were there more right wing publications in the current events area, but they were prominently located, where the left publications were mostly in the very back.

I grabbed a stack of Z magazines and traded them with a stack of American Conservative issues. We then moved all the left mags forward and to the center, and the right wing rags to the back. By tomorrow morning it will all be undone, but in the meantime, everyone who walks up to the magazine rack looks at the international socialist magazine, instead of Time.

I think I will have to do this again.

1. Watch out! They may offer you a job at minimum wage!
The stacking is done by employees according to their bias and sometimes, whichever manager's bias is in play. I do a lot of rearranging at B & N myself when I go in. The important thing is that they carry both types of mags and books, so we can rearrange. :-)

2. Why, what a terrible thing to do!!
And certainly you wouldn't ever cover up the Sean Hannity books with Joseph Wilson's, David Brock's or John Dean's, would you?

I didn't think so. Me either. :)))))))))))

3. I laid my new car's paint job on the line tonite and parked
it prominently in the busy 30 screens cinema parking lot with it's John Kerry for President sticker for all to see :)

No paint damage or graffiti to report, but it was a great spot for some serious viewing

(PS Shrek 2 was hilarious)
