Not enough vacay this week for Bush-he's back at Crawford
What new scrapes on his face will he show up with THIS time? One supposes that being on a golfing junket/vacay in a great seaside resort in Georgia (G8) was not enough time away from the White House. Or maybe he's just resting up before dealing with the TORTURE he apparently authorized which will come back in the news now that the Reaganlooza is over.

2. No Extended Vacation for You, *
Events around the world demand your attention. Count on the situation in Iraq to degrade once again. You don't want to be seen fishing with Poppy while Baghdad burns, do you?

7. It was so rude,
his plane took off, while the casket was carried to the plane and the ceremony was just beginning.

Bad timing or showing, who is the boss here???

8. Hmmm - that's a telling detail -- Getting out of Dodge
so rudely -- and then hightailing it to hole up back at the Pig Farm in Crawford.

Heavy lies the weight of the sToleN cRown on the kRaniuM of the appointed commander-aWol-in-chief*

By the way, where has Bunker Dick retreated to?
Anyone know which hidey hole he's slipped into?

5. I thought it classic
Here is the Reagan party doing its ceremony to load the plane and go to California, when Tweety comments at the loud takeoff that it was the Presidents plane going to Texas.

Hey... I been working all week at that resort. I am behind on my vacation time. scheeze.

9. Bush....proving again he is not the average American
MOST Americans cannot escape the responsibilities of THEIR jobs because they get precious few vacation days. I am so happy to see that our tax dollars are being spent wisely allowing the chimp in chief seemingly unlimited days off.

Hard Work
Downturn or Not, Americans Spend More Time on the Job Than Anyone

May 1— Americans work more than anyone in the industrialized world.

More than the English, more than the French, way more than the Germans or Norwegians. Even, recently, more than the Japanese.

And Americans take less vacation, work longer days, and retire later, too.
