that only the females are being critized. There were males involved in the torture. From what I have seen the worst torture came from the men. Why aren't more people critizing the men involved in this scandal. Also, those females do not represent all of the women in the military.

We are accustomed to think of women on average as being mothers and along with that one associates motherhood with nurturing and caring and more of a tendency towards being peacemakers when compared to testosterone filled males, and until very recently it's been the males who were solely involved in the act of killing during times of war. Women by contrasts when they did take part in war frequently did so in the role of nurses to the sick and injured (reinforcing the concept that women were the nurturers and care givers). Therefore it's that much more of a shock to us when we see women taking part in these barbarous, anti-human acts.

"having sex" or "a sex scandal", and the news last year of female soldiers raped by their male counterparts makes only the slightest wave before sinking into the pool of temporarily upsetting info(and women who reported rape to their superiors were punished for speaking up).

Just an observation here about the girl with the black hat, white latex glove and the tattoo. Tattoos are forbidden in Muslim culture. For a Muslim to deal with a person with a tat puts a lot of stress on him/her.
