5. hmm, the "fixed" version didn't include the text at all for some reason...
ah well - the only innacuracy now is uh, the whole scenario - as opposed to the dates.

Bonzo goes to Bitburg! Fab-yew-lous, as usual. (So you're an SCTV fan, too? Should've known.)

10. I was always jealous of Bobby Bittmann - what a brilliant creation

Eugene Levy is a god!

The Fantasy Island/Casablanca/Hope n' Crosby parody is playing now, and it all stands up so well.

my next project is a sketch comedy thing along very distantly similar lines, hopefully I can get to work on that after this little monkey is voted out of office. There's like 8 scripts in a pile and many tapes/film of bits for it accumulated on the side of this seemingly endless PARANOIA SHOW project.

Dubya seems to compellllllll me to continue with each awful move he makes.

11. All I have to say about that is-
HOW ARE YAAAA? I liked all his characters-how about the newscaster, Earl Camenbert (sp?)? And "Maudlin's Eleven" with the beatniks and the Harmonica Rascals?

12. and who could forget the fabulous Lola Heatherton...
Edited on Sun Jun-13-04 01:39 AM by thebigidea
My favorite Earl skit was the one where he was wearing ridiculous clothing that either blended in with the background or gave out crazy light...

SCTV always mauled the sickly SNL, far better writing...

15. Remember when Lola interviewed
Mother Teresa? "You're so good, it's scareeeee." (With the equally-underappreciated Andrea Martin as the good Mother.)

3. Part 2: Funeral for a Fool
http://www.terminalproduct.com/thedeathofronaldreaganpart2.rm

Outtakes and idiocy from the past week of overblown media coverage. Just for amusement, I tossed it all together randomly ala WSBurroughs' cutup method... some of the superimpositions are oddly appropriate: like Nancy glaring at Barbara Bush, a german POW camp commander turning into John Ashcroft, etc.

Headachey fun for the whole family!

After this, I never want to hear the word "Reagan" again.

Oh geez, is it good. Suddenly a week of relentless pompadoured dead actor-worship is wiped away. I can breathe again! Shout hosanna!

I really love your work. It has a dark surreal quality to it. I'm surprised that it doesn't get more attention here. Great job.
