Impeach Bush

I think the time has come when Americans should consider impeaching President George W. Bush.

He let 9/11 happen.

He started a war with Iraq, justifying it using faulty intelligence.

More Americans in Iraq have been killed since the war “ended” than were killed in the war itself. And democracy in Iraq seems further away, not nearer. He has made enemies of former allies.

He has authorized torture of suspects around the world in violation of international and American law.

He is not just incompetent, he is evil.

Only with an independent investigation can these charges be proven, and impeachment is the right way for such an independent investigation to take place.

1. Great! Is "Stars and Stripes" an independent paper where

the armed forces personnel can read/write about stuff related to the service? I am assuming it is NOT sponsored by the Pentagon....

3. As far as I can tell, they reflect the soldier's viewpoint.

I mean your average G.I. Joe and Jane, not the guys sitting in the air-conditioned offices.

4. They do, since the paper has historically been written for the soldiers

but the reporters/staff aren't necessarily military or former military.

Anybody can write to Stripes. Think about doing it and help combat Fox News overdose.
