Will the "Surprise" take the form of a faked meteor strike?
We've got the BBV really making inroads. The child torture pictures are probably going to surface soon and take the BFEE down but these folks will do anything to keep power and it is almost universally decided that whatever they pull will cause them to declare an emergency, suspend rights and cancel the election.

They cannot have another terrorist event after all the money they have spent and hassle they have put us through. So they leak information about the alleged countdown and fake a meteor strike (nuclear bomb) large enough to cause tidal waves and disrupt world communications and commerce.

Al Queda supposedly surfaced today in the kidnapping of an American in Saudi Arabia but that country is very locked down and the alleged high-hijackers got their passports there at the drive through passport office set up by us after the 2000 election.

If Al Queda were a real threat wouldn't they have made a move during the Reagan funeral? Even a failed move would go along way to proving that they really exist. Everybody they wanted to hurt was there.

They got away with a lot when everyone was asleep but there are eyes and ears everywhere trying to stop them so it will be really hard to pull off anything bad enough to get the desired effect of allowing them to completely give up our rights and freedoms.

A nuclear bomb set off off-shore could be pulled off with a small number of operatives and almost impossible to investigate.

1. I am really getting nervous. The waves, and waves, and waves of
horrible scandals for BushCo might force their hand in terrible ways. And they are criminals with money, power, and corporations willing to do what is necessary to keep him there.

3. Much more likely that they'll go quietly
and reload for Jeb.

4. They somehow have to
shut down congress for a period of time so there can be no hearings or investigations. In what way can they keep members away from the capitol?

7. They think they can interupt the judiciary hearings by
the resignation of a Supreme Court justice and Dubya's nomination of a conservative Hispanic to the post. see the link to an article discussing the "June Surprise"

2. The USGS would know the difference
As would NASA. Setting off nukes in the ocean is a really poor way to fake a metero strike.

5. NASA would know
but if they detonated above the ocean I don't think there would be a seismic signature, but it would probably cause some tidal waves. NASA would be able to see the cloud from it in satellite photos.

6. well if it detonates in the air
the LACK of seismic activity would be a telltail sign that it was either a very small meteor, like the one that fell over Washington state a week or two ago, or a faked meteor.

8. Nah
If Al-Queda (The Base) really existed they would of a) attacked us again or b) attack us massively very soon.

I don't think a meteor strike would make people vote Bush at all. I don't thin a powerful offshore H-bomb would win Bush the election. I don't think there would even be an election in that, due to the chaos that would be caused.

I am confident the October surprise is Usama. I would bet money on it.

10. Not likely to work
Radiation - Even Neutron bombs would probably leave a signature. But I'm not an expert.

No ionization trail, no radar detection - that would be suspicious.

Tidal Waves - I think there have been some studies on this. Meteors in the 100-meter diameter range probably do not create a sustainable tsunami, unless very close to shore. If very curious, I could look up the links. Did any of the South Pacific nuclear tests create large waves that extended much beyond the blast effects?

There are lots of nasty fakes they can pull, this is not one of them.

11. Not at all.
It would not be believed. And besides, what could anyone do about it.
