9:35 C-Span: Ghassan Atiyyah from Iraq: I wonder what his thoughts
Situation in Iraq
C-SPAN, Washington Journal
Ghassan Atiyyah , Iraq Foundation for Development and Democracy

are about his own chances of survival in Iraq???
These guys some of whom, I think, are sincere, are really in horrible danger.

By the way the name of the foundation sounds like a neocon propaganda name which we should believe means exactly the opposite: Iraq Foundation for Development and Democracy

2. He says Iraq/USA have mutually beneficial interests.
There needs to be a re-consideration of American Policy to give Iraqi democracy a chance.
Americans will try all the options until they ultimately do the right thing.

Did not like that Americans dissolved the army.
Baathism was not like Nazism: it was a career.
No trials of the Saddam people yet.
High moral ground was lost.
