So, less than 48 hours after the funeral........
Edited on Sun Jun-13-04 09:19 AM by XNASA
RR is off the Google "In The News" headlines.

F*ckin' media.............I hate 'em. Oh, I was sick of the non-stop coverage last week...all the testimonials, etc....

But now.....phhhttttt. It's all but a fading memory. The (TV) media used the funeral and the associated pagentry to try and blow up their ratings, but now that the casket is in the ground and the family has stepped back from the spotlight ...............nothing.

I'm sure that the Sunday morning TV pundits are still talking RR up, but TV is always about a week behind anyway.

4. Be glad we don't get an extra week of how the family is coping
:puke:

On the downside, the media will NEVER go into any of these details.

5. He's there right now
http://news.google.com

and he'll likely be there for a while. Google News rotates top search items every 10 minutes or so.

6. Same thing happened with Josef Stalin.
He went from "the greatest leader in history" to footnote to unmentionable in a few months.

These are the kinds of things that happen in a state controlled media, which of course, we have.
