Just saw Kerry's commercial on health insurance
says that some 43 million Americans are w/o health insurance and it ought to be the right of every American to have insurance. I thought it was a very good positive commercial.

1. Kerry has been keeping it positive.
Generally people should respond to that, especially since Bush has been doing nothing but fear-mongering. If we elect Kerry and get rid of Bush, it will be "Morning in America" once again.

3. The Kerry plan will only make the cost of medical care
more expensive . A plan that raises the cost of mecdical care to overall % of GDP will not work..

I say his plan will reduce costs considerably. Anytime people do preventative medicine just like preventative maintenance on your vehicle saves much money and stress. Would you suggest that doing preventative maintenance increases costs also?

6. Health care is already more expensive and heading up!
I belong to Kaiser and my monthly bill went from $270/month two years ago to $344/month today. Plus I have higher co-pays.

7. Except for the insurance part.
We need National Health Care. Insurance only keeps the cost of health care high. We will be going nowhere with health care reform in a Kerry administration except for a few bandaid measures unless we pressure him to do the right thing.

Right now I'm not into making an issue of it, but when he is elected, it's time to rally a grass roots movement on this issue and get him to do it. Just as Clinton was pressured not to institute health care reform by the corporate health industry we must pressure the Kerry administration to do so and shut up the disinformation spread by the corporate health care industry.
