Congratulations to the DUer's out in front of the corporate media...
Surfing channels this AM, I noticed that some of the talking heads are questioning whether or not they went overboard with their tidal wave of Reagan coverage? Really! One entire week of positive Reagan and GOP coverage, where Democrats were not permitted to speak at the Reagan funeral, even though it was paid for by our tax dollars. So, only now, a week later, do the talking heads think they might have gone overboard? Some DUer's saw this from the very beginning. Congratulations for being heads and shoulders above the national media in reporting the truth.

4. This is Act III.
Act I
The death and travel itinerary of the man

Act II
The many funeral services (Cue Nancy!)

Act III
The retrospective, including the media exploration of how the media covered Acts I and II.

7. Unfortunately, the retrospectives can never balance the original coverage
It would take them ten years to reach balance...

5. You were there from the beginning Will Pitt...
Let's just recognize the truth and appreciate it for the moment.

8. A lot of us were here from the beginning
One of biggest reasons I am able to publish stuff that is ten paces ahead of the mainstream media is that a browser is open to DU on my computer 24/7/365.

That's you, too, kentuck.

2. in sympathy kentuck some are just slower
as liberals and elitist fancy pants we excel at patience towards the less. an embracing that with help and understanding even media will get it.

my 9 year old understood pretty easily, we were reading the reagan quote thread and giggling, we were disappointed that the ketchup quote wasnt there

3. My husband and I suffered through "Reliable Sources" this morning
and were shaking our heads in disbelief as Howard was "trying" to take a critical look at last weeks coverage.

There was only one person *I thought* was STILL telling the truth about Reagan. They can't even be critical when trying to be critical about the coverage.

It was a waste of time.

10. The 'legacy' propaganda talking heads jabber was too much for me.
No one told the truth about the record. His supporters are incapable of knowing or telling the truth.
