Ron Reagan's views of George W. Bush.
My father crapped bigger ones than George Bush"
--Ron Reagan Jr., April 2003

During the 2000 Republican National Convention:
The big elephant sitting in the corner is that George W. Bush is simply unqualified for the job... What's his accomplishment? That he's no longer an obnoxious drunk?1
One might separate Reagan's statements into sarcastic one-liners and those of careful coherence - something of which he felt Bush incapable.

Asked to comment on Bush's temperament in an interview:
We reveal ourselves in small moments, and one of those small moments that didn't get nearly the play it should have was the Carla Faye Tucker incident. . . .When Bush was asked by the conservative journalist Tucker Carlson shortly {after the execution} what he thought Carla Faye Tucker might have said to him . . ., he put on a squeaky little voice and said, "Please don't kill me! Please don't kill me!" Now, it takes a special kind of guy to ridicule a woman he's just put to death. If that doesn't demonstrate a lack of gravitas, as well as a lack of dignity and self-respect, I don't know what does. . . . So--experience, aptitude, temperament: I think Bush falls short in all three.2

1. I adore RR Jr. which is why I didnt criticize Reagan as a human being
after his death. I didn't like his policies, but he is a far cry from Bush just as a fellow human being.

6. Meaning, he's head and shoulders above him.
What you said sounds like Reagan < Bush, but that doesn't sound like what you meant.

7. You have to give Reagan (Sr) credit for one thing...
.. contributing the genetic material that produced Ron (jr).

2. The Carla Faye Tucker remark that Bush made upon her execution
is about all anyone needs to know about this piece of human waste. Mocking her execution is as low and despicable as you can get. George W. Bush has no clue of what real human beings who live on this planet go through.

His whole life has been one of privilege, comfort and the luxury of living in ignorance. While I'm no big fan of his father, at least he seemed to have some sense of Noblesse Oblige (French for the obligations of the ruling class). Dubya has no sense of anything but his own comfort, power and whims. To put it as plainly and elegantly as possible, the man is a total piece of shit.

4. What is sad
is during the 2000 debate with Gore, a person from the audience tried to ask bush that question, but they white-washed it down before the man in the audience could express himself.

Not many people knew or saw that piece of garbage we call our president, make that cruel remark.

And he is supposed to be born again?

8. hmm
I thought that WMD joke was a bit taseless, but I didn't know he was that bad.

'After Bush had her killed, he sadistically mocked Carla Faye Tucker on a conservative talk show. Asked what she might have said had he met with her, Bush assumed a scornful whine and imitated a woman pleading for her life. Governor Bush apparently found this as funny as his recent presidential search under a table for the Weapons of Mass Destruction that never were found in Iraq.'

What a lowlife scum.

9. This article has been posted at least four times. While it's a good one,
I'm wondering if the mods are asleep. Don't mean to pick on the poster, but it's kind of annoying.

10. You can't post this stuff enough
The right wing echo chamber repeats and repeats and repeats until it becomes fact. The difference is that what's being posted here isn't propaganda. It's reality. (And if it's not someone will debunk it quickly enough.) Reposting stuff like this makes sure that no one misses it. (Who knows, someone who might have taken a few weeks off, missed it, and then caught it, might turn out to be the next Seymour Hersh.)
