Where is Hunter Thompson?
I figured he'd be swinging for the fences with the sudden abundance of fat pitches.

Perhaps he is just fueling up on all the red meat?

Lots of fear and loathing going on without him.

Where is he?
===========================================

Big Darkness Soon Come...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Bush family reeks of fraud and bad karma. But even worse than our wretched, gibbling president are the cowardly whores in Hollywood who are currently smearing film stars and music people like Johnny Depp by calling them unpatriotic Americans who righteously question the wisdom of invading a whole nation of Islam -- 1.8 billion worshipers -- which is a dangerously stupid idea. Disagreeing with Donald Rumsfeld about bombing anybody who gets in our way is not a crime in this country. It is a wise and honorable idea that George Washington and Benjamin Franklin risked their lives for. These thieves in the White House are so crazy with greed and power, and they are causing so much drastic damage to the world we live in, that they are the ones who should be put on trial for treason.
---Hunter S. Thompson---

2. It's usually those when I CAN find him...
...I fear he must be enjoying the good life to wretched excess. Last I heard he was in Hawaii.

5. Really,
I figured he was enjoying the good life in Woody Creek. I can't wait to hear his eulogy for Reagan. I hope to see another book about this election year too.

7. Yeah...he promised to come out blasting, this summer...
but he has been oddly quiet. Not even a Page 2 column since May 25.

I wonder if he's going to fly with the press corps like in the Nixon era?

6. He writes the ESPN Page 2 column
every couple of weeks.

He broke his leg in Hawaii at the first of the year. He was supposed to go the Puerto Rico to be their for the filming of The Rum Diary (with Johnny and Benicio). But I think that's now later since Johnny's doing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

He's falling apart. He needs a 4wheel IT thing...what do you call those things that only Dubya can tip over?

9. Writing, and lots to write about...

His last book, about 18 month's ago, "Kingdom of Fear" had some excellent and very funny observations of the frat boy king and these power mad fucks Bushco.

There's so much material with these fascist now in power...I hope he's around long enough to share his unique insightful Gonzo writings with us.
