Shouldn't we do something for Rush?

Hey y'all, I just checked the DU Top Ten Idiots list and saw this at the bottom:

(Addendum: It appears that Rush Limbaugh, popular radio talk show host and avowed defender of conservative family values, ended his third marriage this week. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Rush during this difficult time, which comes hot on the heels of his recent problems with drug addiction and troubles with the police. Hopefully this latest blow will not prevent Rush continuing his daily three-hour lectures on personal responsibility, morality, and why his problems are all Bill Clinton's fault.)

As you all know, a few weeks ago Rush took out some ads in the local paper to attack prosecutors for trying to frame him on this Oxycontin matter.

Maybe we could get some DU'ers to chip in a few bucks and buy an ad in the same paper expressing our sympathies for his recent problems and expressing our earnest hopes and prayers that everything will turn out all the best for him. Maybe we could even send him some flowers!

Of course the ad will APPEAR very sympathetic (taking out the Clinton sentence from above is a good example) but of course will be dripping with well-deserved sarcasm towards Rush.

Any thoughts on how it should be worded?

4. I think it is all unraveling

for Rush. He is in a constant state of denial and continues to lose one good thing after another. He is an addict and that is the most important thing in his life all else will fall away if he does not really attempt to stop. This is a story lived out daily by many who have to hit the bottom before they can make a change. It is tragic but not surprising. He will lose his radio show if he continues to deny his reality.

Or, whatever it was that kept him safe and snug at home while railing against the anti-war protesters.

Also, would be willing to send him a card in whatever jail he will hopefully soon inhabit. And, I hope that he will find an enthralled audience of African American gentlemen who will offer gentle critique of his jibes at welfare cheats, druggies, and Jesse Jackson.

Other than that, I will pray (to the God that I don't believe in)that poor Marta takes the remains of his sorry ass to the cleaners and reaps large monetary awards for a tell-all book on his marital prowess, sheer tedium of listening to his bombast, and undoubted financial manipulations to support his "pain relief".
