We need a freedom flag
Often groups that have succeeded in ridding themselves of unwanted dictators have had symbols to help inspire them and to recognize one another. One idea is to wear red on Friday. I've started. However, it occurs to me that with all the flag waving, we might want our own flag which won't be controversial but will have meaning. We might try going back to the flag that Americans carried during the revolution.

2. Don't Tread on Me
I never really got the idea of this one. Is the snake supposed to represent the American Rebels or is it supposed to be King George the snake? I look on the entire Bush* Cabal as a pit of Snakes which I have no problem with treading upon.

5. It's a Rattlesnake!

The comment, "Don't Tread On Me!" makes sense if you think of a barefoot person stepping on a poisonous snake.

It's a lot like the MacPherson Clan's motto "Touch nae the cat but a glaive!" meaning "Mess with me at your peril!" or don't mess with a cat who has her claws out!

MacPherson born and bred!

3. How sad. Old Glory should stand for freedom. To some of us it still does.

Remember when Superman died and there were suddenly four pretenders running around Metropolis and trying to make out with Lois Lane? Later the real Superman returned, just as one of the fake Supermen was revealing himself to actually be an evil robot from outerspace. When Superman came to realize that someone had been using his symbol, the big triangular S, to justify slaughtering people, he became more than infuriated.

He became morose. Superman had spent his whole adult life building up that S as a symbol of justice and now some illegitimate pretender was perverting his life's work. The evil alien robot didn't just do bad things, he destroyed the people's trust in the good things that were created to stop such evil in the world.

Because of Mr. Bush, I now know how Superman felt.

4. I've recommended taking the old Otpor fist, painting it red, white & blue.
Or even just red. I find it incredibly powerful.
