Boortz today predicted that Kerry will win in November
I was listening to Boortz today (trying to get a traffic report), he had just cut a Democrat off and was on a diatribe, but in the middle he said something to the effect of, "You're going to wake up the morning after the election and be happy, because Kerry is going to win in November, but you'll regret it later . . ." He was railing at this guy (whom he had already cut off) about the economy and how the guy was an idiot for not thinking the economy had recovered. It was just very interesting to me that he would come out and say that Kerry is going to win. Even more telling was that not a single caller following this one called Neil on it. No one argued with his prediction.

1. pessimists are on both sides
I'm a pessimist, too, as I think Diebold and the Corporate Media are a lot to overcome.

2. Accidentally posted this thread twice
Oops, first time on this one said it had failed, and some weird message came up, so I checked for the thread - wasn't there, so I posted again. Then this thread showed up after I posted the dupe. This is the second time in two days this has happened. Wonder what's up?

Anyway, I think Boortz's prediction is right on, and I don't believe the election is even going to be close. JMHO

3. boortz may be right
or he may be just practicing wishful thinking. funny as hell the way the nazis are now distancing themselves from hitler. but even if our guy wins, the nazis are still there. and their only goal is to regain power by making our guy's life a miserable hell.

maybe a terror attack BLAMING our guy, and impeaching him?

there is nothing they won't do as we've all witnessed.

4. yeah, hubby and I were discussing this today on the phone
I called him on the cell when I heard Boortz. He said that just because the PNAC crowd is apparantly ready to sacrifice Bush doesn't mean they are going to relinquish power. He seems to think there will be a surprise at the Republican convention. I don't know. I was a poli sci major. I am use to American politics being played by the rule book. These neocons, though, have their own rule book, so anything is possible.
