:wtf: What BULLSHIT! He looked VERY pleased to me. What do you think? Did Clinton look unhappy about his portrait?

1. I did not see Clinton on TV
but I did hear a glimpse of his acceptance speech on TV as I was passing by and also on the news at AAR.

My impression was that Clinton sounded sad.

 just an impression. It was not upbeat, imo, although I am going by the tone and not the actual words.

2. He looked VERY "humbled" to me...
not unhappy about the portrait. The portrait is BEAUTIFUL and looks just like him. There's nothing to be unhappy about.

he was in the WH.

4. Somehow, I find it hard to
believe that this was the first time they saw the portraits. Just a hunch.

He was hoping it would be nude, so he could show off his gigantic package
at least that's what I heard on right-wing radio today. it hasn't lied to me yet.

with the painting. What was he suppose to do stand there and drool over it?

with his own image. If you ask me the pugs are just trying to get a meme out to take away from the moment. On edit, if Clinton had beamed at his image the meme would have been how ego driven he is. It really is no win for him with people like the old bleach blond tweet man.

That would be irresponsible. You are irresponsible.

16. Tweety is a jerk
you know that's a pretty hurtful thing for an artist to hear about their work. I have looked at the mans work it's Good! I also don't think Clinton's painting looks bad nor is he disappointed. As an artist (no where near as good as that artist) I'm insulted that Tweety or any other hate head out there has to drag this artist into their mean spirited bs!
Give it a rest you freaking hate heads I'm so sick of it, ya know Enough is a f*cking enough! Your bitterness is going to eat you up Tweety!

20. The artist is obviously very talented and it was very
inconsiderate of Tweety to say that on National TV. I am so sick of the shit he dishes out on Clinton.

17. Looked to me liked he'd seen it already.
He wore the same suit/tie that he had on in the portrait.

Tweety's acting like it was the first time Clinton saw the portrait.

25. "Big Packages" are "always" the focus of Tweety's shows. He just loves
"men in jeans, men in costumes, men in tights, men in...whatever."

He loves just "looking." :D He loves "studs." He wishes he could get in there and measure.

(sorry, but Tweety's little voyeurisms about "male appendages" has been well documented by DU'ers for years now...:D

26. If you look at the picture on Tweety's program site, it is so highly
retouched it looks like a much younger, nicer, smarter guy... And Clinton said today "I worked hard to have this face. I think I'll keep it."

28. exactly.
Tweetie's just pissed because his sleeves weren't rolled up and he wasn't sportin' a package enhancer like his hero.

CBS did a nice little feature on the artist who did the painting who himself seemed quite awed by the opportunity.
