A Hot and Humid Day
Did I mention the story of while caught in heavy traffic on a hot and humid afternoon I noticed the car in front of me.
What brought my attention to this mans car was the sheer number of bumper stickers and signs of every sort leaning obviously to the Right Wing of the Republican Party, AKA Bush and Company.(BushCo)
I’ll describe just a few in order to keep this below the ten thousand word mark.

Abortion

Generalities aside, Because their IS no monopoly on any single issue by either party.
I know that in myself, I hold views on issues that cover the spectrum.
But this is one, Combined with two others that prove the plank of the Republican Platform is hypocritical at best.

Abortion, Call it Pro this or Anti that, what many in this party believe is that a women should never have the opportunity to abort a fetus.
The cry of “Sanctity of life”, Is one I have often heard from those who believe abortion should be outlawed and other methods allowed to take it’s place, Although those other methods are never discussed nor debated in the scope of this argument.
It’s even gotten to the point to where the question is being asked, “What is a fetus”, Nonsensical non-ending arguments that take the proponent down the slippery slope of

The Death Penalty

Many of these same “Right to Lifers”, Also inexcusably support the death penalty in all it’s forms and procedures, Some actually with a loud voice claim that the death penalty today is too “Humane”, In that an injection simply puts the individual to sleep.
Never mind it seems that this sleep will last an eternity, It’s actually torture they are advocating, And torture finally brings to mind recent stories of

War

And all that goes with it in scope and presence. We on this very board have debated the War in Iraq adnauseum, None of us will change his or her mind due to the value system we each hold inside ourselves.
The question of war itself is rarely debated but rather the object, Destination and Reasons for going to war in the first place.
There again the many who support the other two are wholeheartedly behind War and the taking of this or that life.

Another thing that links all three of these things, Poverty, Why is it just to bring a child into this World just to throw to the wolves of poverty crime and a Nation full of self righteous hypocrites who hate this child merely because of the circumstances that he or she was born in to.
The end result more than likely would be prison, the death penalty or at best joining the military in order to get out of the environment only to be used as a killer for the same type of people who had turned their backs on him his entire life.

So in wrapping this up I’ve come to the logical conclusion that in order to hold all three of these beliefs simultaneity one must in fact be.

1. Schizoid
2. A liar
3. Or so far gone that they fail to see the irony

Which ones apply ?, Hey you got me, The traffic finally started to move along and the first chance I got I gave this good fellow the greeting, He went his way, And I went mine.
Just a tale from the road on a hot and humid day in Chitown:dem:

1. What did the bumper stickers say?

I've seen a lot of anti-choice bumper stickers, but no pro-death penalty ones I can remember, or any pro-War ones, aside from the "support the troops", which I don't take as pro-war. Enquiring minds want to know.

2. All of the above
This guy must have just returned from a Right Wing Christian Right Spit Swapping Convention.
We all see bumper stickers, But the shear amount and scope that he displayed were beyond anything I’ve seen in one place, Especially on one car.

He had mega stickers on the Anti-Abortion subject, The War in Iraq, And yes even the Death Penalty which I have never seen.
They were all accusatory all right wing and all focused on what these people believe is Kerry’s are the Democratic Parties wishes to maintain Abortion, Do away with the Death penalty, Run away from Iraq, Kill Babies etc. etc.

It was a Right Wing Circus Wagon, Incredible.
As I've said, I would like to see someone who held all these views at the same time examined by professionals, Perhaps then we could find a cure for Pukeitis and eliminate this from our Nation.
